Everyday Life In Amsterdam

I will never forget visiting this city. I never seen a place life it before. Bikes were everywhere! It holds a special place in my heart for many reasons but on in particular is that I had my first international art fair in this city that helped launch my career.

Amsterdam, like very place, has shadows and struggles... but I chose to focus on the light. On the love I witnessed between people, on the culture that thrives, and on the beauty found in the ordinary.

This piece was created with international newspapers collaged underneath, along with many layers of charcoal, ink, spray paint and acrylic. It was loads of fun exploring and creating this large piece. You won’t see anything like this anywhere. It’s one of a kind.
