An original plein air painting completed in my study abroad program in Florence, Italy.
I was captivated by Italy and wanted to create work that was inspired by what I experienced.
Going out to Pietrasanta I was able to go up and down these little streets and take in the sculptures and this quirky little town. I saw this door and with it being a super warm day it had me inspired to work quickly and this making more of a looser painting that I really enjoyed painting.
Comes with Rustic grey frame and matching grey Matt pictured.
