When God speaks, we always have a choice: to listen and obey, or to ignore and turn away. Stepping out in obedience can feel uncomfortable, even frightening, but it is always worth it. The more we practice hearing Him in the small, daily moments, the more ready we’ll be when He asks us to take a bigger step of faith.

For me, comparison was a heavy battle. I doubted myself and questioned if I had anything unique to offer. But God showed me that my uniqueness — my voice, my style, my story — is not a mistake but a gift. He reminded me to trust the process, to embrace how He made me, and to be kind to myself as I grow.
As my dear mentor Pat Bruner always says: “It’s not pass or fail, but learn and grow.”
