Sacred Stillness
Only 1 in stock
In march of 2020, I painted this woman standing in the woods, head lifted up. A month later, due to c*vid our little village shut down. No cars on the roads. Just family walks, prayers, and the stillness of a world on pause.
One day on a walk, I felt the whisper: “look up .” I snapped a photo, not thinking much of it—until I got home and realized my painting was almost identical to the picture I had just taken a previous month.
This piece reminded me then—and still does today—that it’s sacred to stop moving, to drown out the noise. To pause. To breathe. Because our bodies were designed to rest.
Prophetic art has always been where God meets me, and this one will always hold that truth.
